1. Introduction
Finbard (“Finbard”, “we”, “us”) is an AI assistant for finance teams operated by Mesh Payments. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Finbard, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account information. Name, work email, organization, and authentication identifiers provided via your identity provider (e.g. Google, Auth0).
- Customer content. Files, prompts, queries, and other data you or your organization submit to Finbard for processing.
- Usage data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the service.
- Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for session management and product analytics that help us improve the service.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve Finbard.
- To authenticate users and protect against fraud and abuse.
- To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use customer content to train third-party foundation models without your consent.
4. Sub-processors and sharing
We share information with vetted sub-processors that help us operate the service, including cloud infrastructure (AWS), identity (Auth0), and large language model providers used to generate responses. These vendors are bound by data-protection agreements and only process data on our behalf.
5. Data retention
We retain customer content for as long as your organization’s workspace is active. Logs and operational data are retained for a limited period necessary for security and debugging. You can request deletion at any time.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel and audited. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow industry-standard practices to protect your data.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@finbard.ai.
8. International transfers
Finbard is operated from the United States and may process data in other jurisdictions. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.
